After watching Molly handle Dr. Kelso, Elliot realizes that she's the mentor she's been looking for all along. She even gets up enough courage to tell off Dr. Cox. For once, he's speechless. But, instead of responding to Elliot, Dr. Cox takes out his anger on J.D. But, later, when Molly introduces Elliot to her boyfriend, who happens to be a car thief, Elliot begins to question Molly's judgment.

Carla gets her own dose of courage when she stands up to Turk. After nights of him coming to bed and waking her up, she demands that they go to bed at the same time each night. She even makes him leave his boys, who are watching a baseball game at their apartment, to go to bed with her. J.D. tries to get some respect from his residents, but they just ignore him.
